Certain videos may contain annoying ads, which you will definitely want to skip. A better solution is to remove them completely. If you lack the necessary skills to edit videos, then you can try Video Edit Master, rather than a complicated editor. The application can be used to cut or join videos, capture their frames and save them as images or mute their soundtracks. The best part is that the original quality of your videos will remain unaltered.

Video Edit Master is completely free and it works with all popular Windows versions. Installing the application does not take more than a minute and it does not involve any complex settings. The hardware requirements are modest, but you need to install a few codecs, if you wish to edit videos in certain formats.

Compared to other video editors, Video Edit Master's design is cleaner and more efficient. Imported videos and the ones you are working on are displayed in separate lists, so you won't risk mixing up any files. Once you load one or more videos, in AVI or MPEG format, you can select them and click a button to send them to a different list, where they are handled as parts of the same movie.

Selected videos can be played on the right side of the user interface, where you can also find controls for trimming them. All you need to to is mark the start and end positions and click a button to add the marked segment among the movie parts. You can remove existing movie parts, if you only want to cut a video, but you can also add multiple files if you wish to join them. Regardless of what you intend to do, you can export everything in the parts list as a single video file, through a standard Save As dialog.
